We are informed by the architects, Mssrs. Bayer & Withall, that Mr. J. Lang’s tender for the new grand stand on the East Park Lands has been accepted. The amount of the contract is £4,675. Messrs. R. Huckson & Co. were the lowest tenderers, but they withdrew their tender (SA Weekly Chronicle 4 March 1882: 12)
