Comments	Donovan & Associates (1988) state 'the exterior... is of little distinction (solid rather than distinguished) though because of it detailing it complements other major buildings in the civic centre. The interior of the actual hall is very original with a great deal of plaster decoration to cornices, about the stage area and the balustrade to the balcony' (M-15).
