Designed with the provision for two further wings,it included a steeple of galvanised iron. Cumming and Davies designed the North (Gosse) Wing in 1883. Opened in 1884 it provided 40 additional beds and included a wide corridor where patients could gather in cold or wet weather. The 1892 Angas Wing was supervised by Alfred Wells. Demolished in 1973 (Kerr 1979)
